Connor and Kelly's story began upon first meeting in September 2019, when they were 17 years old. God had a playful sense of timing, for as their senior year unfolded, they found themselves navigating the peculiar landscape of virtual classrooms brought on by COVID. While finishing out high school from home, living only 10 minutes apart, the two quickly reconnected. Connor invited Kelly on what she did not know would be their first date, a moment that would later hold more meaning than she could have imagined. From that day on, their friendship deepened, quickly becoming a constant in each other's lives. That summer, they were inseparable—going on hikes and picnics, playing sports, and spending time with their closest friends before college would take everyone in different directions. It wasn’t long before Kelly realized that the day in March was indeed intended to be a first date, and that her bond with Connor was something truly special. With college looming on the horizon, Connor took a leap of faith and asked Kelly to be his girlfriend, beginning a journey marked by distance, but bound by love. Despite the hundreds of miles between them, their connection only grew stronger, each moment apart making the time they spent together all the more meaningful. After one year of long-distance, Kelly followed Connor down to Auburn where they enjoyed four years of fun down south together. Kelly's decision to follow Connor to Auburn was a testament to the strength of their bond, and together they embraced the vibrant energy of SEC culture. The two stepped right into the joys and challenges of their college years, savoring the moments they knew would become part of their story forever. As Connor's college graduation was approaching, he was quietly setting plans in motion to propose. Two months after graduating, he had the beautiful day prepared. While walking through Auburn’s campus on their way to dinner, Kelly turned a corner and saw a picnic set out with a sign asking her to marry him. Without a second thought, she said yes! As they stand on the precipice of a new chapter, Connor and Kelly look back on their journey with great thankfulness to the Lord, knowing that every twist and turn has led them to this moment. Now, Connor and Kelly step forward hand in hand, ready to embrace the adventures that await them as Mr. and Mrs.

Charlottesville offers a variety of activities for everyone. From hiking, golf, and tennis at Boar's Head Resort, to exploring museums, galleries, and local wineries, there’s something for every interest. You might also enjoy a visit to historic Monticello or some time outdoors kayaking on the Rivanna River.

We are excited to provide transportation to and from Trump Winery and the hotels listed below. The pick-up and drop-off locations will be The Boar's Head Resort and The Hilton Garden Inn. Please let us know your accommodation choice so we can ensure everyone is included in our plans, as parking is at the venue is limited. We have arranged a block of rooms at a fixed price at The Boar's Head Resort for guests staying the full 3-day weekend. A minimum 3-night stay is required to reserve one of these rooms, and they must be booked by July 15th! We hope to celebrate with you all weekend! Courtesy of Trump Winery, a discount is available for guests staying at The Hilton Garden Inn. These rooms must be booked by July 18th to receive the discount! Please find group codes for each hotel below.
